Dr. Sherwin Habibi

Dr. Sherwin Habibi is an Ottawa native, having grown up in the east end of the city. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Carleton University where he was awarded the Governor General's Academic Medal, the university's top undergraduate award. Following this, Dr. Habibi attended the University of Toronto for dental school, where he earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. During his time there, he involved himself heavily in school initiatives and activities, and served as the class vice-president and later president. Dr. Habibi then attended the University of Washington in the beautiful city of Seattle for three years where he studied Orthodontics, earning both a specialist certificate in orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Dentistry.
In 2018, Dr. Habibi moved back to Ottawa and joined the team. He brings with him a contemporary approach to orthodontics with a strong understanding of 3D planning and computer-aided treatment planning. In 2019,
Dr. Habibi became an orthodontic Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada as well as a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics.
In the clinic, Dr. Habibi takes time to listen to the concerns of patients and parents, and invites their questions and participation throughout orthodontic treatment. He communicates with other dentists and specialists frequently to ensure that your health is always being taken care of, and that your general dentist is involved and informed about your orthodontic progress. Dr. Habibi is delighted to be part of every single patient's journey in orthodontics, and is especially proud to witness the developing confidence in many of his younger patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Habibi enjoy snowboarding, creating YouTube videos, soccer, and is a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo. If you have any good movie, TV show, or game recommendations, he wants to know!
